Schedule of Activities

Wednesday, February 6

Upon arrival at the Cancun International Airport, you will be personally greeted by the Wyndham Travel Staff that will be holding a sign with the Wyndham name. The Wyndham Travel Staff will assist you with luggage handling and direct you to waiting transportation to the Fairmont Mayakoba Riviera Maya Resort - your home away from home. You will be escorted to the front desk where your guest room has been pre-registered for you. Enjoy cool refreshments while your luggage is being delivered to your room. There will be a short wait for your luggage so carry any needed supplies in your hand luggage.

The remainder of the afternoon is yours to relax, unpack and explore your new surroundings. Try to stay active and awake on your first day after traveling - this will assist with your time adjustment.

6:30 p.m. Welcome Fiesta

A fun Olé welcomes you as you enter a tropical setting, complete with the spectacular colors of the sunset and bright colors of Mexican festivities! This evening, experience unique food stations depicting true Mexican style brilliantly displayed with a liberal assortment of hors d’oeuvres - so come hungry. Wear your name badge and meet new friends and associates as we start off the trip of a lifetime.

Thursday, February 7

8:00 a.m. Breakfast

Orientation Breakfast for all attendees

Location: La Isla Lawn

This morning, an extravagant breakfast buffet is available for your enjoyment, combined with a brief orientation. This informative meeting will acquaint you with the Fairmont Mayakoba, the activity options, and help you to have a more enjoyable stay. Don’t miss it!

9:15 a.m. Group Photo

Group Photo Session

Immediately following the group breakfast, everyone should gather at the designated outdoor area (near breakfast area) for a photo. We want the entire group included so please make every effort for you and your guest to be there. Casual attire is accepted. Following the group photo session, the remainder of the day is at your leisure to enjoy your activity of choice.

11:00 a.m. Golf Tournament

Shot-gun start begins at 11:00 a.m.

For the Annual Golf Tournament participants, transportation shuttles will begin departures from the Group Entrance at 10:00 a.m. You will enjoy and afternoon of scenic beauty and some friendly competition while playing on the El Camaleon at Mayakoba golf course, designed by Greg Norman. This course boasts a winding layout around the tropical jungle and mangroves, before stretching out to the sea. Personal clubs will be transported on a separate van - please have your personal clubs to the bellman by 7:30 a.m. If you prefer, rental clubs will be available at your own expense. Proper golf attire is required.

Evening Dine-Around Dinner

Location: Playa del Carmen

Attire: Resort Casual

You will depart for dinner from the Group Entrance (lower lobby, next to business center). Please look for the sign with your name and departure instructions.

Playa del Carmen boasts some of the finest restaurants where you can enjoy first-rate cuisine, along with experiencing the famous 5th Street shopping area. After dinner, enjoy some time on your own for shopping and exploration of this entertaining area.

The “Dine Around” is completely hosted by Wyndham for you and your one guest.

Friday, February 8

Evening Awards Gala

“The Art of Leadership” with Wyndham Vacation Ownership!

An exclusive evening is planned for you as the time has come to honor “the best of the best” — the President’s Club members. The reception will be held in the Riviera Grand Foyer, outside of the Riviera Grand Ballroom. As dusk turns to night, you are invited to enjoy your favorite cocktail and dine on delectable hors d’oeuvres.

Attire: Suits and ties for the gentlemen. Cocktail dresses or evening pantsuit for the ladies.

Attire: Suits and ties for the gentlemen. Cocktail dresses or evening pantsuit for the ladies.

The lights are dimmed and the staff awaits you as you are escorted to the ballroom for an elegant dinner, superb entertainment and the highly regarded awards ceremony — a tribute to your outstanding performance! Complete the evening with dancing and celebration following the presentations.

Saturday, February 9

8:00 a.m. Breakfast Buffet

A delectable breakfast buffet will be available for President’s Club members, followed by a business meeting with Wyndham’s senior management.

Xcarat (pre-registration required)

You will explore the incredible eco-archaeological park and of one of the most important Mayan ceremonial centers. Activity choices include snorkeling in the lagoon, visiting Flamingo Island, and sights such as a turtle habitat, aquarium, Manatee Lagoon and many other features. Please bring a towel, biodegradable sunscreen, swim suit, etc.

Please meet at the group entrance lobby to depart to Xcarat promptly at 3:00 p.m.

5:30 p.m. Cameras Ready

Location: Gran Tiacho Theater

6:00 p.m. Dinner Show

Xcarat Noche Dinner Show

Attire: Casual

Wyndham Vacation Ownership will have a reserved area in the theater. Following dinner, enjoy a show for all of the senses - complete with over 200 performers!

Following the performance, the group will return to the hotel at approximately 8:30 p.m.

10:00 p.m. Party

CoCo Bongo

If you are ready for a party, come to CoCo Bongo in Playa Del Carmen, where a reserved section will be held exclusively for Wyndham Vacation Ownership! This high-voltage atmosphere is the ultimate mix of entertainment, music and dancing.

Transportation will be provided to CoCo Bongo on the hour. Returning shuttles will be leaving from CoCo Bongo at 11:30 p.m., 12:30 a.m., and 1:30 a.m.

Sunday, February 10

Get ready for a busy, fun, wonderful day filled with adventure, new experiences and a delightful, relaxing evening!

Pre-Registered Activity Groups

Tour of Xel-Ha and Tulum (Full Day)

Enjoy the famous site of Tulum, which is perched on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean sea. At the site, visit the Temple of the Frescoes, Temple of the Descending God, and “El Castillo” - complete with spectacular views of the coastline. The tour will continue to Xel-Ha, which is known as the largest natural aquarium in the world complete with islands, caves, and waterways. Swimsuit and towel are recommended. Departs at hotel group entrance. Please check with event staff for departure times.

Horseback Riding/ATVs

Head to El Rancho for a scenic horseback ride through trails and along a private beach. Or, test your skills on a four-wheeler or ATV through the jungle and beachside. Must wear jeans and closed-toe shoes. Departs at hotel group entrance at 8:30 a.m.

Speed Boats

Race side-by-side in open waters. Wear a swimsuit and bring a towel.

Zip-line/Canopy Adventure

Expert guides will be with you every step of the way as you enjoy the ride and scenery. Please wear jeans, closed-toe shoes and no jewelry. Please check with event staff for departure location and time.

Underground River

Explore the beauty of this secret underground river, first discovered in 2006. Suits are provided if desired. Please check with event staff for departure location and time.

Cancun City Tour

Tour the sights and sounds of nearby Cancun! Shop the local markets and La Isla Mall. Visit the Mexican Popular Art Museum. And enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Departs at hotel group entrance at 9:00 a.m., returns to hotel at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Cruise

Feel the sea breeze while aboard a luxury 65-ft. Catamaran. Enjoy drinks, snacks and snorkeling. Bring a swim suit and towel. Please check with event staff for departure location and time.

Camel Safari

This unique experience lets riders have an adventure on top of a camel! Please visit the Hospitality Desk for assistance with your reservations.

Dolphin Encounter

Enjoy a dolphin encounter. Please visit the Hospitality Desk for assistance with your reservations.

Bring your appetite as we grill beachside at sunset. Relax and enjoy the music, new friends, and spectacular ocean view during this evening under the stars. We extend our appreciation to RCI for a wonderful evening.

Say your final farewells in style as you dine on a delicious brunch and sip some fresh, chilled fruit juices or steaming coffee. Local merchants will be displaying their goods for last-minute purchases.
